Donald Trump is Becoming More Desperate and More Deplorable

As the election draws closer and closer there are two things that become more and more clear, Trump is becoming increasingly more desperate in his attempt to secure a second term and in that effort, he is becoming more deplorable, as if that was even possible.

Trump has failed on this pandemic and his actions have taken so many lives over the last five months as a result of his negligence and that is the very essence of being a deplorable and the essence of what he has done and the messes that he has created.

I have written several articles about the failures by this president with this pandemic and he has, he has failed miserably with this crisis that we are going through, but more than that, his attitude towards the loss of life and how he seems to not care is what is most deplorable.

Beyond being a deplorable, he has shown that he is desperate and knows that his chances of re-election are not looking good because of how he has botched the response to the virus raging through our nation. It is because of this that he is acting out in desperation and trying to save the sinking ship of his 2020 campaign.

Over the last 24-hours he has shown this desperation in a very deplorable way, even for him.

We have known for a long time that Trump will do whatever it takes to win and he has taken some pretty corrupt actions over the last nearly four years to feed his ego and win what he wants for himself and those who support him, but even for him, these things that he has said and done recently take it to an entirely new level.

As if it was not bad enough that he has failed to manage this pandemic and protect the people of this country from this deadly virus, now he is bringing up racist birther theories again and attacking the staples of this country, like the United States Postal Service, among other things over the last few days that have passed.

Oh, you didn't hear?

Yes, the man has stooped to new lows, even new lows for a president who has set the bar so low, that it would be hard for anyone to go lower.

Attacking Public Health, The Press, and Now the United States Postal Service

Trump continues to feel the need to attack others in order to prop himself up and make himself look good, he does it with the press and has even being doing it with the CDC and the World Health Organization now is going after the Postal Service.

It has been happening for years with his attacks on the media and a free press in this country and now now he is going after public health organizations like he has with the World Health Organization and the CDC as well as experts like Dr. Fauci.

It is sad that during this pandemic he attacks these experts on public health and with the World Health Organization, he goes as far as to end our long and trusted relationship with them when they are the ones who are the voice of reason during these times.

Then he continues to go after the press and then on the flip side claim that he is for the constitution and free speech, when he is attacking a free press and calling the press “fake news” and other attacks on them, he has done this since he was first elected and it continues to do this day.

Then of course, his recent assault on the United States Postal Service and threats against them where he says he will withhold funding.

This is perhaps the most outrageous of all and the one thing he has done that show him as the wannabe dictator that he is trying to be. For this president to go after such an organization such as the USPS that has been an American staple for so many years, is shameful and should never be tolerated in a free nation such as ours.

Trump has called the USPS things like, “A joke”, A disaster”, and “Corrupt” and this is quite funny as those are all the things that Trump without a doubt has proven himself to be as president.

The truth is that the United States Postal Service is as popular in this age of technology and email and texts and so on as they have ever been and are much more popular among Americans than he is or will ever be as long as he holds office.

The USPS is an institution that has been around for nearly half a century and is an independent agency that delivers for the American people without any expectation of any support by the federal government yet does the work that the government should do and gets mail to the more than 300 million citizens of this nation.

They are like magic, you put a stamp on an envelope or a package and in a few short days, someone across the country or for more time, around the world will receive your correspondence and even in the age of faster communication with email and Facebook, that is an amazing thing.

Trump achieved a low point in a presidency that has been full of low points and disasters when he said that he would withhold funding from the USPS to stop mail-in voting and this was not some random “He was just kidding” type of moment like his supporters often claim when he says something similar to this.

He meant it as he has actually taken actions to derail the United States Postal Service before.

He appointed Louis DeJoy, a businessman and major donor to his political campaign as the new postmaster general and the actions taken so far by DeJoy show that he is serving at the pleasure of the president and working on things that Trump wants done.

DeJoy eliminated overtime pay and this has lead to slowing down the mail because they now stop when their shift is complete, not when all of the mail is delivered. The new postmaster general also has had the USPS to stop with the mail sorting machines which also impacts the mail and keeps things slowed down.

Trump is doing these things to start to get rid of the Post Office as we know it while making sure that mail-in voting does not happen and he has made sure that he does what he can to help postal workers with COVID-19 relief and the Post Office as a whole with emergency funding that will help them during this crisis.

These actions with attacking the press, withdrawing from the leaders in public health during a pandemic, and going after a vital institution like the USPS show who this man is and that is that he is corrupt, treasonous, and is flat out unfit to serve as President of the United States and is so desperate to get re-elected that he is willing to stoop to new lows, even for him.

Embracing Yet Another Racist Birther Conspiracy Theory and Other Attacks on Kamala Harris

We all remember the racist birther lie that Trump spread about Barack Obama and the search for his birth certificate to prove that he was born in the United States and thus, eligible for the office of the presidency and how that caused Republicans to use this to attack Barack.

We also remember Trump finally admitting that Obama was born in this nation after years of using this to become politically relevant in his quest to become President of the United States.

Now, he is doing it again, even if indirectly.

Trump’s campaign advisor, Jenna Ellis retweeted a tweet from ultra right wing website Judicial Watch suggesting that former presidential candidate and current Vice President nominee, Senator Kamala Harris was not eligible to serve as VP because her parents were not born in the United States and then Trump himself chimed in on this false theory.

A few hours later Trump said when asked at a press briefing about the issue and he said, “I just heard it today that she doesn’t meet the requirements and by the way the lawyer that wrote that piece is a very highly qualified, very talented lawyer.”

He is going after her like he went after Hillary’s VP pick back in 2016 and that is because that is what he does, he attacks people when he fears he will lose something that he has or not gain something that he desires and this is the exact reason that he did this same thing to President Obama so many years ago when he started the birther lie.

Donald Trump was the one who used the conspiracy theory that Obama was born in Kenya and thus not eligible to be President of the United States back in 2015, conveniently just as he was about to run for the office of President of the United States of America, but he was not the first to start it.

It was serial Illinois political candidate Andy Martin who started this rumor back in 2004 and Trump jumped on that opportunity and for five years he pushed this racist birther theory about the former president, and now he is doing it again with Senator Harris and his supporters are buying into this propaganda yet again.

If we look further, it was back in 2011 that Trump first mentioned that Obama was not born in the United States and now he is doing the same with Harris by suggesting that she was not born in the United States, even if some of what he is doing is only suggesting it based on what others have said, he still is stoking the same racist theory.

Fascism and Abuse of Power Grows as Election day Inches Closer

I believe it was just a few short days after the tragic killing of George Floyd that Trump tweeted out, “When the looting starts, the shooting starts” in response to the protests that were happening, and then he has added more fuel to that fire with similar comments.

Then, he did what we never thought that we would see a president do, and that was when he had his attorney general order that protesters were tear gassed outside of the White House so that he could have his photo op with the Bible outside of that church.

I am sure that you can recall the photo, it was a moment that we will never forget, as it was deplorable to the core.

As if that tear gassing incident was not bad enough, he has built on these fascist efforts by sending troops into cities like Portland to engage with these protesters and attack the constitutional right to assemble and this alone should show his desperation to control things that go against his agenda for America.

Then, in another fascist move he went after the internet platform TikTok and set a plan in motion to ban the Chinese platform in the United States, in a move that is unprecedented for a president to do. TikTok was the website that had some of their members troll Trump weeks back and reserve thousands of tickets for his Tulsa rally and not show up.

This was no coincidence that he banned this website just after the teeny boppers trolled him and sabotaged his political event and this was for sure a power hungry move, one of many that he has made throughout his time in office, and especially now where he is getting more and more desperate as we get closer to the election.

Trump is a wannabe dictator and has been this way since he took office, he has show this by his actions as well as his praise of actual dictators.

Trump is power hungry — he has shown this since day one.

The Liar in Chief has Upped his Untruthful Ways as Our Country Remains in a National Crisis

The truth will set you free.

This is what the old saying is and it is very true. The truth is what we hope we will hear when the President of the United States speak, but this has not been the case when Donald Trump speaks to the American people and has not been since he took office almost four years ago.

What we get when Trump speaks is the complete opposite of the truth. We get lie after lie when he holds his rallies, gives interviews, or speaks from the podium in official press conferences. What we need is to have a president that is honest and does not lie or make things up and this is why we must vote this man out come November.

Donald Trump has told 19,127 false or misleading statements as of just last week.

Let that sink in for a moment. The President of the United States and the leader of the free world has lied to the people of this country nearly 20,000 times in less than four years. I will say that again, the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES has told more lies in four years than every other president in American history has told combined.

Trump lies no matter what is going on, but during this pandemic he has lied more than at anytime throughout his time in office and these lies are flat out dangerous and have real life consequences for millions of Americans, but as a desperate man does, he twists the truth with the hope that it will save him and give him a second term.

The lies that he has told about this pandemic have been dangerous and have had a real impact on the people in this country, an impact that has cost lives in many senses.

Like, when he said that the virus would vanish in a few weeks or when he called it a hoax. His actions and his falsehoods have been dangerous and have shown that he cannot be trusted to tell the truth to the American people, not now and not ever and this is simply who he is.

The Leader of the Deplorables is More Deplorable than Ever

Trump supporters were outraged when Hillary Clinton called them a “Basket full of deplorables” back during the 2016 election, but they really have proven themselves to be just that over these last four years, and their leader without a doubt has shown that is what he is.

Trump is the leader of the deplorables and is showing just how deplorable that he is over these last few days.

I know, they will not like being called this and I am sure that Trump will not be pleased either, but the truth is the truth and this is something that he and those who support him just do not like to hear.

They are though, and during this pandemic and especially in the last few days Trump has proven himself to be more deplorable than ever and taken some actions that have shown that a lot of late, especially over the last few days with his actions on the Post Office, Kamala Harris, Portland , and so much more.

The protests in Portland are why I bring up that city and how he sent the Feds in to deal with the protesters, but also what he has done in the last 24 hours with removing mailboxes from Portland, other cities in Oregon, as well as New York and so on to fight mail-in voting — talk about fascism, this is for sure it.

The Truth of it All is This

The man is deplorable, the man is desperate to win another four years, and the man is out of control.

The actions he is taking now show that he is unfit for office and should not be trusted with a second term, but of course his supporters think that he is the best thing since sliced bread and there is nothing that you can say that will convince them otherwise.

The desperation is evident with Donald Trump, more than it has ever been, even during the hearings about Russian collusion.

He is desperate and more deplorable than ever.

This is the truth of our current reality with this guy as President of the United States and it will not change if he is re-elected. This is who Donald Trump is and it is who he will always be, he will not change and if we expect him to change, we have another thing coming.

The only way that we end this mess is to elect Joe Biden as President of the United States in this upcoming election.

Trump may be desperate, but I am more convinced than ever that this desperation will not get him re-elected and the reason for that is that the American people see through his games and are sick and tired of the type of deplorable things that he does.

Trump’s supporters are getting desperate too. Just slap a liberal bumper sticker on your car and you will see their desperation and anger in full effect, just as when he is called out for his lies and nonsense that he becomes more desperate and angry than ever.

The goal is to get Trump out of office and the way to do that is to vote for a smarter America and a sane person to get us that better and smarter nation and that person is Joe Biden and his running mate Kamala Harris, like it or not, that is our best chance to save this nation!
