Top 5 Reasons That You Must Vote This November — Vote Blue That Is
Our defining moment as a nation in a defining election is getting close — 66 days until we vote for the next President of the United States.
Just over two months away from what many are calling the most important election in the history of this country and rightfully so, this is an election with a lot on the line for the people not only of this country, but for the people for the entire world.
There are a lot of reasons to vote against Donald Trump and to elect Joe Biden as our next president and there are literally zero reasons to cast a vote to give Trump four more years in the Oval Office as President of the United States of America.
Trump has proven over these last four years that he is not fit to stay on as the leader of this country and that he simply is not up to the task of leading this nation in any capacity — he has proven himself to be unfit, unpresidential, and incapable.
This is why I have come up with this list of the top five reasons why we must get out and vote blue in this upcoming election and vote to get this man out of office. This list consists of the main reasons that we must vote in this election and why that vote must be for the Democratic candidate who is running in just two months.
The goal is to get Trump out and get our country running again, and the way to do that is to exercise our constitutional duty and vote.
- Our Health Depends On It — Our Lives Are At Stake
The Trump presidency has been a chaotic disaster in so many ways, but what has been the worst thing to happen over his first term in office has been the COVID-19 pandemic and his response to this crisis that has gripped the world and crippled our country.
Trump’s response to this crisis has been the worst failure in American history and should be the number one reason why we go in the other direction in this upcoming election.
As of today, we have 180,000 dead, nearly six million infected, and millions unemployed as well as a president who has no plan to fight this virus, nor does he care about the state of things or the health of the people of this country in this pandemic.
We must do something about this and look at the bigger picture here when it comes to this issue.
The Democrats have proven that they care about our health and safety during this pandemic and you need to look no further than the two conventions that took place this month to see that it is the Democrats care about the safety of the people and the Republicans do not.
The Democrats held a virtual event with no in-person attendance as to keep people safe, while the Republicans and their nominee had 1,500 people who were mostly mask-less and were not social distancing to watch Trump give his acceptance speech.
This was not the first time that Trump had a crowded event during this global pandemic and I am sure that it will not be the last. He has held these rallies and speeches where people do not follow the guidelines set in place by public health officials, having no regard for the safety of people.
These events are not the only way that he has failed with this pandemic and not the only way that he has put us at risk.
Trump has failed on testing with him even slowing down the testing for our people, not listening to the scientists and health experts, not issuing social distance guidelines or a national mask mandate, or even a simple step like verbally acknowledging the severity of this virus, instead of calling it things like a “hoax” and a ‘harmless flu”.
The health of the citizens of a country are vital and a president should put the health and safety of the people of that nation front and center as that is his prime responsibility, but Trump has not done this, he has failed the people of this country with this pandemic.
Health matters and this is the number one reason that we must get out and vote and vote blue in this election.
Joe Biden will listen to the experts, he will take the virus seriously, and he will put the health of the people of the United States of America above all else that he does and this is what we need. We need a president who values public health and makes it a priority, not one who dismantles pandemic response teams and walks away from the leaders in world health.
Health matters and this is why we must vote blue in this upcoming election, if we do not have our health, then we have nothing.
2. The Truth Matters — It Is Time To Restore Honesty and Integrity To The White House
It is expected that the President of the United States (or any country) have certain traits and use those traits in the job, and Trump does not have these traits and one of those traits is honesty.
Honesty is perhaps the most important attribute for someone in the position that Trump is in to have and yet he doesn't have it.
Trump has been the most untruthful president in American history and one that has created a culture of fake news despite him calling everything else the fake news.
This is another important reason to get out and vote this November and to make that vote be for the Democratic candidate in this election over giving Donald Trump four more years as the president of the country that we love and value.
The truth should always matter and facts never change. The truth is a value that the leader of a country should embody but it is something that Trump has never possessed, nor is it something that he even cares about and that is not good for this country or our future.
Donald Trump has told more than 20,000 lies since becoming the president and has proven that he cannot tell the truth.
The truth matters — the truth should matter to us all. I know, Trump’s base does not think that he lies and thinks that his tweets and his words in his speeches are facts, but they aren’t and they never will be because he lies and will never stop lying.
Joe Biden on the other hand is a man of integrity and honesty and will always be honest with us and keep things real while keeping things truthful, he has proven this throughout his time in office, both as Vice President and before as a Senator and so on.
The truth is something that is not a priority for this president and it never has been.
Just look at this virus situation, he has lied constantly during the pandemic about the very thing that is killing Americans and has shifted the blame to everyone but himself, using lies and fake news in his attempt to make himself look better.
He lied about not knowing Putin, about paying adult actress Stormy Daniels that $130,000, about his relationship with Jeffery Epstein, about the things he actually has said, and about everything in between throughout his time in office as president.
The truth matters. The truth will always matter, but as long as Donald Trump remains president it never will and this is yet another reason why we unite and get everyone together and vote this election. We must vote like our very lives depend on it — becomes it does.
3. Racism And Hate Should Not Be Part Of The Presidential Platform
The Black Lives Matter movement had come about long before Trump came on as president, but the people who elected him as president were behind that racism that brought about that organization.
More than that, this president did not create racism and hate, but racism and hate created this president.
Trump is an opportunist and while he has these racist and xenophobic views to begin with, he jumped on the growing bigotry in this country that became even more so when a black man became president.
He knew that there were many people not only enraged that Barack Obama became our president, but he picked up on the anti-immigrant as well as the Islamophobic views of many in country and ran with things like the birther lie about Obama, building a wall along the southern border, and a Muslim ban, among other things and it worked.
Trump then made hate and racism the central focus of his 2016 campaign and that agenda remains today as he seeks a second term. This hate and racism that has been a part of his presidency and is responsible for the hateful and racially divisive climate that we currently are in.
This hate and racism that we have lived under throughout these last four years cannot continue.
This is yet another reason to vote for Joe Biden and every single Democratic candidate up and down the ticket some this November. Racism and hate have no place in the American way of life and for sure have no place in the highest office in the land and must be struck from such places.
It is because of the racist and xenophobic platform of Trump that his loyal supporters attack people and treat people who are different with such vile hatred, but on the flip side it is because of their cruelness that he was even elected in the first place.
I encounter these people often, they have no interest in uniting this nation and ending these type of behaviors and neither does Trump and this is why we must vote blue and elect Joe Biden as our next President of the United States, recent events show us this more than ever.
4. Donald Trump Is The Most Corrupt And Criminal President In American History
This is perhaps the biggest reason for us to get out and vote and elect Joe Biden as our next President of the United States and the reason that creates the most division amongst undecided people when it comes to voting for one of these two men.
Some believe that Trump is corrupt and has committed crimes, some do not believe that to be the case.
From his dealings with Russia to the nepotism that has gone on within his administration to the people that he has hired who have later gone to prison and so on, we can see that this is not a law and order president like he claims to be.
Everything this guy has done has been corrupt, even during a pandemic that has taken the lives of many of our people, he has found a way to profit from a tragedy by promoting a drug that he owns stock in the company that makes that medication,
Of course, if you ask his supporters they will claim that he “donates his salary” and is very charitable but when you look deeper into these things you will see that his corruption runs deep and that he has used the office of the presidency to make money for him, his family, and his friends.
Trump sells a lot of products to promote his campaign and his agenda, he sells those hats and mugs and flags and lots of other products bearing his name and the Make America Great Again logo. He rents out his D.C. hotel rooms at his properties to diplomats and even has the secret service stay at his resort in Florida and when they travel abroad.
He is corrupt, he profits off of the presidency and has done this since the day that he took office.
Then, we have how he stole from a charity for his own political purposes back in the last election. He used his foundation to profit personally and politically and got called out for it by a court. The Trump Foundation shut down for its misconduct, but Trump was punished too for using these charitable funds for his own political gain.
You see, he is corrupt and has committed a host of crimes (too many to list) and this is why we must vote him out, we need a president who isn't corrupt and who follows the law, not one who steals from charities, hires criminals, and who thinks he is above the law.
5. America Is Kinder, Smarter, and Better Than Donald Trump And What He Has To Offer
Trump was the biggest mistake in American history and has dragged the people of this country through chaotic mess after chaotic mess over these past few years and wants to do it for even longer.
We cannot make that mistake again, we must make the right choice this time around.
I always say this and for me , it makes sense to have these counter slogans — Make America Kind Again, Make America Smart Again, and Make America Sane Again.
Our country is a better country when we have some sane, smart, and kind leadership like we had when Barack Obama was president and we will have that same type of leadership with Joe Biden as the next President of the United States.
The disaster of the last four years cannot become the disaster of the next four years for our country.
We are a kind country deep down with how for decades we have been a nation that welcomes immigrants and refugees, not lock them in cages and belittle them.
We are a smart country when we listen to public health experts and have a plan during a global pandemic and when we put public health and safety above the ravings of a lunatic who favors his own ego over taking advice from others.
We are a sane country when we have a leader who makes decisions based on the facts and the evidence and not conspiracy theories from extremist groups and things that the current president makes up as he goes based on his own thoughts.
We are a better country when we have a real leader who does what is best for the people of this country and governs using the advice of others and behaves in a presidential and competent manner, rather than acts like a spoiled child who did not get their way and for these reasons , we must vote blue come this November.
The Verdict Is ..
There is no other option than to vote for Joe Biden and blue up and down the ticket in just sixty days or so.
Now, not everyone likes Joe, but when you put him up against the current guy who is in charge, there is absolutely no comparison as to who is the right one for the job as president.
These were just a few reasons to consider when thinking about who would be best for us to lead our nation into the future and to help us overcome the many obstacles and challenges that we face as we the people, the pandemic, racism and more — it will take real leadership to defeat these things and that choice is obvious.
Donald Trump has proven that he is unfit to lead, he has proven that he would rather blame others than take responsibility.
These reasons are just a small sample of why we must vote for the Democrats in this next election, but there are many more reasons why Donald Trump has not earned another term and giving him another term would be economically, morally, socially, and spiritually devastating for this nation.
This is our moment, this is our time, this is our chance to get this right this time around and VOTE BLUE and save our nation!
