Trump Gives us a Less than Great America

Trump supporters continue to say “Keep America great” and push this new campaign slogan of his as he pushes for re-election in the year 2020 with the false belief that he made America great, which was his campaign slogan back in 2016.

Shall we review the past four years including our current reality here in America with our current crisis to see just how Trump has made America great?

19,000 lies, daily divisive rhetoric, hateful words and actions towards every minority group in the country, racism, collusion and criminal actions that raise to the level of treason, holding rallies gloating about his so-called accomplishments, and more are not great and neither is a more than 20% unemployment rate with millions jobless , 77K dead , a virus spreading throughout the nation with no actions taken.

These things are great Trump supporters?

Oh, I didn’t know .

He owns all that from his weak and inadequate and negligent response to this crisis and he owns the rest from his words and actions that have been a staple of his presidency and none of these things makes this country great and they for sure do not make his presidency successful, unless of course, you consider failing the American people a success.

“Promises made, Promises kept”

This is another slogan that does not ring true, yet is one that they tend to use an awful lot when they defend Trump.

“Mexico will pay for the wall”

“I will release my taxes”

“ I will always be working, I will never leave the White House”

“I will drain the swamp”

“I will hire the best people”

“I will defeat ISIS in 30 days”

“Obamacare will be gone on day one”

“I will have the most transparent administration ever”

He promised all of these things and deliver on NONE of them, yet his supporters continue to pull lies out of their butts to defend him and say that these promises did come true and that he always keeps his promises when we all know that he doesn’t.

Mexico did not pay for the wall and they never will, he never released his taxes (2005 does not count), he has golfed more than any president in history and never works, he did not drain the swamp (he filled it), he has hired the best criminals and liars and has had without a doubt the highest turnover rate of any administration in decades, ISIS has no been destroyed, Obamacare is still around, and his administration has lied the most and has been very far from transparent.

These are the facts.

Donald Trump has not made America great. He has made America hate and has turned a once great country into a place none of us even know anymore and a place that has lost its soul while in the process enduring much moral and political damage that may take decades to overcome once we get him out of office.

Now that we have a pandemic that as I stated in previous articles, he poorly handled, his negligence and nonsense has cost American lives and cost the country millions of jobs and hope for the future in so many ways, so bad that many have called it the greatest response to a crisis in the history of this great nation.

Locking kids in cages, deporting families who are here to seek a better life, throwing poor people off of healthcare and food stamps, awarding rich people while punishing the poor, profiting off of the presidency, calling people names, and so on do not make America great and those things never will make us great and neither does Donald Trump.

America was great before Donald Trump and we will be great when he is out of office because America is better than this man and what he stands for and we deserve better than what he is about. Our children deserve better than the future he promises (or fails to promise) and if we are to overcome the damage he has done then we must vote like our lives depend on it, because more than ever, they absolutely do.

Obama made America great. Bill Clinton made America great. Jimmy Carter made America great.

As much as I was against their policies, even past Republican presidents were better than this guy and their supporters did not have the cruelty, hate, and anger that his supporters have and did not treat people in the ways that the supporters of Trump treat people.

The COVID-19 crisis has proven who they are and who the president that they support is.

They call it a hoax and are cruel and disrespectful towards the sick and the dead and this should shock none of us because he called it a hoax just like he calls everything “fake” and a “hoax”. They get their information from him as that is what cults do, they follow their leader, to their very own demise in many cases and this seems like one of those cases.

Trump supporters think that he makes everything great.

Great to these people is when only wealthy, straight, white gun owners have rights and women, LGBTQ people, minorities, and everyone else are left out to fend for themselves and denied human rights and human dignity and they believe that anything and anyone that gets in their way of winning elections and achieving their goals are “anti-American and “traitors”.

This is how they think and this is what they think is great.

Donald J. Trump and those who defend and support him will never make America great and this is a fact that those who are torn between Joe Biden and Trump must learn and accept and they must do this because our nation is less great, less safe, and less humane with Trump “leading” things and we will NEVER achieve greatness with him running things.
